Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 13, 2026

MoodFlow: Mood & AI Calendar (hereinafter referred to as the "App") is a calendar and planning application that combines scheduling with mood and energy awareness, habit tracking, and on-device assistance. We take privacy seriously. This policy explains what information the App may process, how it is used, and how we protect it. It applies to the App as distributed through Google Play and the App Store.

1. Data Collection and Use

Depending on how you use the App, the following categories of information may be processed:

1.1 Calendar, events, habits, and wellness-related inputs

• Events, tasks, reminders, notes, and related metadata you create in the App (such as titles, descriptions, dates, times, locations, and priorities).
• Mood types, energy levels, and similar labels you attach to events or check-ins, and habit definitions (including recurring habits and streak information).
• Aggregated views you generate in the App (for example, charts or summaries derived from your entries) for your personal insight.
• By default, this information is stored locally on your device and is not automatically uploaded to our servers.
• If you enable optional cloud synchronization or backup features, such data may be transmitted and stored in encrypted form to keep your devices in sync, as described in the App and at the time you enable those features.

1.2 On-device analysis and suggestions

• Features described as on-device (including intelligent scheduling suggestions, pattern detection, and similar tools) process your calendar and wellness-related inputs on your device to generate recommendations for you.
• We do not use your mood entries or calendar content to train general-purpose AI models for unrelated purposes, and we do not sell your mood or calendar data to third parties.
• If a feature explicitly requires a network connection, we will describe that in the App; core on-device processing does not require sending your entries to us for inference.

1.3 Device and usage information

• Device information such as model, operating system version, and app version.
• Anonymous or aggregated usage analytics to understand how features are used and to improve stability and user experience, where permitted by the platform and your settings.
• Crash reports and diagnostic data to fix bugs and improve reliability.

1.4 Permissions and third-party services

• Calendar-related permissions when you choose to integrate with your device calendar.
• Notification permissions for reminders, mood check-in prompts, habit prompts, and similar alerts you configure.
• Optional integration with third-party calendar or account services when you connect them; such providers are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
• Location permissions only if a feature you enable explicitly requires location (for example, location-based reminders), and only as disclosed in the App.

2. How We Use Information

We use information for purposes including, but not limited to:

• Providing calendar, planning, mood and energy tracking, habit, and notification functionality;
• Generating on-device insights and suggestions you see in the App;
• Synchronizing data across your devices when you opt in to such features;
• Improving performance, security, and user experience;
• Providing customer support and troubleshooting.

3. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

• The App may offer optional subscriptions or in-app purchases (for example, premium themes or advanced features), with payment processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• We do not store your full payment card details; transactions are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies.
• Subscriptions may renew automatically; you can manage or cancel them in your store account settings.

4. Data Storage and Security

• Your primary calendar, mood, habit, and related data is stored on your device by default and protected using the security features of your device and operating system.
• When optional cloud or sync features are enabled, data is transmitted and stored using encryption and reasonable safeguards appropriate to the service.
• We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
• Where the App provides export or deletion options, you may use them to manage your data as described in the App settings.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required by applicable law in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information by mistake, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

6. Policy Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App (for example, in-app notice or release notes) and/or by updating the "Last updated" date above.
